Steel Angel Kurumi

Review:

Don't let the seizure-inducing opening fool you: Kurumi is a show well worth watching, if a bit silly. Kurumi is a robot is awakened by a accidental kiss from Nakahito, becoming his unquestioning and somewhat naïve servant, much to his chagrin. Set in an alternate-history-late-Meiji-era Japan (the early 1900s), the military is after Kurumi, and so is another, secret organization. Costume design is somewhat over the top in fanservice. Jokes keep on coming at a fairly regular pace, except at the end, where they would be inappropriate
