Trigun

Review:

A series that becomes progressively darker as it progresses, Trigun starts out with a great deal of humor and has nonstop action throughout. Vash the Stampede has a huge ransom on his head due to massive destruction he's "caused" in the past, and two insurance agents are sent to follow him to prevent more losses. When a wandering priest who carries a giant metal cross with him joins the party, things just get more outragious. The visual style of Trigun is especially distinct, with costumes ranging from the silly to the impossible against an almost unchanging background of the desert planet they reside on.
