Excel Saga

Review:

It's an anime about nothing but nonstop laughs. Although pandering mercilessly to hardcore otaku, everyone should be able to get at least a few laughs out of Excel. Excel Excel works under Lord Ilpalazo of the secret ideological organization across to conquer a single city, failing time after time. Her adventures take her to school, the U.S., outer space, the wilderness, the desert, and the sewer. Movies such Aliens are parodies right along such anime classics as Spacebattleship Yamato and Gundam. Note that the final episode was too racy and controversial to air on Japanese TV. Bills itself as quack experimental. Be sure to watch a second time with translator's notes turned on.
