I’ve been watching The Vision of Escaflowne Series with Silence recently. It’s an excellent show that should be required watching for anyone who’s ever played Exalted. But my favorite character is not the newly crowned, headstrong king, the haunted schoolgirl-cum-fortuneteller, or the extremely knightly knight. No, my favorite character, if you’ll forgive some minor spoilers, is the villain, Emperor Dornkirk of the Zaibach Empire, also known as Isaac.

Why? He has a Destiny Prognostication Engine. What other reason do I need?

…it was ok. I dunno, this episode seemed anticlimactic. Zero gets amazing powers… and that’s it. I can definitely see why some people out there want a third season.
