Big O

Don’t laugh at the title – this is a good anime series, albeit one that has a visual style that’s more like that of contemporary American rather than Japanese animation. Roger Smith is a negotiator in Paradigm City, where memories of the past are rare almost to the point of nonexistence. He just happens to have a giant robot, Big O, that he uses to fight other giant robots, crime, etc, and he’s followed by an android named Dorthy to boot.
