Various sources are reporting that BANDAI has announced that they will be producing and distributing about 1000 “life-sized” (1.5 meters, slightly under 5 feet) Gundam “figures.” I suppose at that size, you could actually load one up in a catapult and give them a real reason to shout “It’s a Gundam!” A picture is available at http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/nb20060804a3.html – I’m not a fan of the series, but I still think this is fairly cool.
